The Bedrooms

Three bedrooms, one quiet floor.

The three second-floor bedrooms sit together and share a full bath. Each has windows on a different side of the house.

The second-floor landing, three bedrooms off it, the renovated bath through the doorway on the right.

The landing opens onto all three bedrooms and the shared full bath, room enough for kids, guests, and a home office without anyone crowding. Each room faces a different side of the house, so it gets a different light and outlook, and each has its own closets.

The full bath was rebuilt: a frameless glass shower with a tiled surround, a recessed alcove beside it with room for a linen closet, and a dark-wood vanity with brass fixtures. An original cast-iron radiator stands alongside.

From the landing, a staircase climbs to the third floor, with a storage closet built in under the steps. The fourth bedroom is that entire floor, a private suite with its own bath and an arched window over the yard.
